[ World Information ]

Since Tyve's an original character, her world is obviously not exactly known. So here's some information! This probably really only applies to mind-readers and such but...Yeah.

Now for some bullet points.

The World

• Her civilization is not the first to develop on her planet. It's the second. A good millennium before, man had basically developed to the point that tech was pretty much stereotypical future shenanigans. Then something happened and they had to start close to square one. Though it was closer to the transition between dark ages and the Renaissance as a jump point in no small part to the fact that there was a good chunk of survivors that helped push redevelopment along. However, it seems as survivors died off that history took it's damn time getting up to speed. Also a few wars in the first few centuries might have contributed.

• Technology-wise Tyve's time is analogous, or rather an amalgamation, with the late-1910s to mid-1920s. Though this is quickly changing with discoveries of ruins of the previous civilizations. No doubt as her world's scientists and engineers continue researching, the tech will start jumping in leaps in bounds. SPOILER: It does.

Ascalon

• Tyve's home country. It's a Coniferous forest biome with mountainous regions so she's used to relatively mild summers and brutal winters. Ascalon is bordered to the East and West by countries, the North by mountains and South by the sea. Considering it's relatively dangerous strategic location, it's quite well known for it's military prowess (Albeit it hasn't been really flexed in centuries).

Tyve

• Thanks to a childhood incident that she won't even talk about to close associates, she's close to terrified a little scared of geese. She's also allergic to cats.

• While it's a long time in coming, Tyve will eventually, through successful campaigns, becoming one of Ascalon's top generals at the relatively youthful age of 32. During that time she eventually gets the moniker "The Storm General" in part of the fact that on her first outing as a general she leads a successful attack on a major enemy arterial route and encampment during one of the worst storms on record. The enemy had been unprepared for an attack in such brutal weather and were routed swiftly. These unconventional tactics eventually become a hallmark of sorts for her.

• While she's enamored with technology the first few years after leaving the academy, she starts to dislike it as it progresses faster and faster. By the time she's in her 30s she uses it grudgingly when it's on a vehicle. Rumor has it that she once lost her temper and set fire to an errant computational machine that incurred her wrath. That's a filthy lie. She shot it twice and threw its sparking carcass out a third story window.

TL;DR version Coming Soon!
